Professor Hans Grassmann (DPIA, University of Udine) will discuss the “Linear Mirror,” a solar concentration system, and a new biomass gasifier. These technologies, developed in Trieste (Isomorph srl) and Udine, were first presented at ESOF2020.
While inspired by historical concepts, these technologies represent innovative solutions to the modern challenge of global warming.
Updated versions of both systems are now operational at the Servadei Farm and the University of Udine.
The seminar will be held in a hybrid format, with an in-person session at the Sottostazione Elettrica, viale Miramare 24, Porto Vecchio – Trieste, and a remote option.
